Study Mission for Educational Leaders

Partnership International e.V., Cologne, in cooperation with local school boards has arranged various one - week study missions to Germany. International principals and educational leaders are invited to take part in this excellent experience. During the program they are hosted by English speaking German principals. The main focus is five days exposure to German education at various school levels. Principals will experience the everyday tasks of a German administrator: observe different classroom activities, and see first hand how the educational system is designed for reaching high academic standards.
They are invited to experience the unique ‘dual system’, combining apprenticeship and academic training. It is worth seeing how the enforcement of close cooperation between industries and schooling helps establish common goals, and financial funding.
The latest developments in Germany have been asking for more students to select the vocational training systems that include general education and guarantees university entrance in their special fields.
The German educational system also includes early tracking for highly motivated and intelligent students, who attend college prep schools at no extra cost.
